Active Profile’s Anna Heyes is shortlisted for IoD’s ‘Liverpool Young Director’ Award

ACTIVE Profile’s Managing Director Anna Heyes has been shortlisted in the Institute of Directors' North West Director of the Year Awards.

The 29-year-old has been revealed as one of two finalists in the ‘Liverpool Young Director’ category and Anna is the only PR director in the shortlist of 28 directors from across the region.

The IoD is a British institute with over 43,000 members. It is ‘dedicated to providing directors with the information and advice they require to help their business succeed’.

The finalists for the nine categories were chosen following an in-depth interview process and scrutiny from an independent panel of judges that included last year's overall winner, Phil Jones from Brother UK.

The judges were impressed with Anna’s clear strategy and ability to embrace change in challenging economic conditions, as well as the company’s proactive approach to new forms of media.

Anna Heyes said: “I’m surprised and delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award. We continue to work very hard and I am very proud of Active Profile’s achievements over the last few years.

“We’ve got a talented team, ambitious clients and a very exciting period of growth ahead.”

Active Profile delivers public relations and marketing services to a range of private and public sector clients, including Energy Innovation Centre, Liverpool Science Park, Brabners Stuart, Riello UPS and Mason Owen.

The winners will be announced on October 6 at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. The winners will then be entered in for the national ‘Director of the Year’ award.
